We obtained the Privacy Mark System certification on February 18, 2000.

Under this mark system, the JIPDEC is the only third-party accreditation organization in Japan that certifies private enterprises that handle personal information appropriately in accordance with JISQ15001.

What is JISQ15001?
It is a JIS standard for requirements for a compliance program on personal information protection, and was established on March 20, 1999.It specifies the minimum requirements for the protection of personal information and can be applied within the scope of a business's appropriate, personal information protection objectives.The standard also adopts the management system principle and expects business operators to enhance their own management capabilities.

The Company is aware of and promulgates and enforces among its employees and corporate officers the importance of the appropriate handling and protection of personal information and emphasizes compliance therewith in promoting corporate activities.

Privacy Policy

The Company shall endeavor to provide adequate consideration and to appropriately protect personal information when handling personal information in accordance with the following Privacy Policy.

  1. The Company shall clearly indicate the purpose of utilization of personal information, and shall obtain, utilize and provide such information within the scope required for achieving the specified purpose of utilization.
  2. The Company shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, relevant laws and regulations, guidelines specified by the national government and other rules.
  3. The Company shall ensure security by taking reasonable security measures along with preventative and corrective steps in case of unauthorized access to, or loss, damage or leakage of personal information.
  4. When providing personal data handled by the Company to a third party, the Company shall take steps to prevent the information being leaked or provided again by that third party by means of contractual obligation unless there are special circumstances.
  5. The Company shall respond, to a reasonable extent, to requests for the confirmation or correction of personal information.The Company shall also appropriately respond to complaints, consultations and inquiries.Please contact the Company using the contact provided in advance.

Provision of personal information to third parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties without prior consent of the individual, except as required by laws and regulations.

Subcontracting the handling of personal information

The Company may subcontract part or all handling of personal information to a third party.In this case, we will select a subcontractor that meets sufficient standards for the protection of personal information, stipulate items related to maintaining confidentiality in the subcontractor agreement, and supervise the subcontractor as necessary and appropriate.

Requests for disclosure of personal information
